How are winners selected?
We offer 3 draw types here at Glorious, in all cases winners are chosen at random!
Live Draw
Our live draws can be watched via our Facebook page for everyone to see. We use a random number generator to determine a winner live on screen. Live draws are exciting and we also read out comments and answer customer queries as we go.
Auto Draw
Our automated draws use trusted random number generator code to pick a winning number as soon as the draw closes.
Instant Win
Our Instant win competitions have a list of prizes with pre determined winning ticket numbers allocated to them, these can be seen on the competition page before you enter. When you purchase tickets your random ticket numbers will be checked to see if they match any of the numbers on the prize list - if they do you will instantly win that prize!
In all cases winners are contacted via email, just incase you miss the draw or haven't checked your numbers.How long is the competition open for?
Every competition has a set closing date and time displayed on the competition details page. If we have to change this date for any reason, we will update the website accordingly. We will only change the date if we have to for reasons outside of our control, and never due to not selling enough tickets.
Competitions are drawn as soon as the Closing Date is reached or all entries have been sold, whichever is sooner.
How do I know if I have won?
We will notify the winner via telephone or email within 7 days of the closing date of the competition. You can also check the draw results on the website and in the "My Wins" section of your account. If you change any of your contact details prior to the closing date, you must inform us. We will try to contact you using the information you have supplied us with. If we cannot reach you within 28 days of the closing date we reserve the right to choose another winner and you will lose your right to claim the prize.
Where can I find my ticket numbers for a competition?
When you enter a competition you will receive an email with your ticket numbers. You can also view these in your online account under "My Entries".
How do I receive my prize?
Cash prizes are transferred directly to your bank account. Physical prizes can be delivered for free to your door anywhere in the UK, or you can come to Glorious HQ to collect your win.
If I win, do I have to take part in any publicity?
No, this is not compulsory. However, with your permission, we would love to share your excitement on our website and social media pages.
Even if you do not want to participate in any promotional exercises, we may have to provide your details to the Advertising Standards Authority to prove we have administered the competition and awarded the prize fairly.
Can I choose a cash alternative?
Many of our bigger prizes such as cars may offer a cash alternative option. If available, this will be shown on the competition page.
Can I sell the prize if I don't want it?
If you are the winner, the prize will be yours. You can do what ever you wish with it, including selling it.
Is there a limit to how many tickets I can buy?
In order to keep things fair we set a limit on the maximum number of entries any one person can have. This limit is displayed in the competition listing page under "competition rules".
What are my chances of winning?
The maximum number of entries is stated on each competition so your chances of winning will vary from competition to competition. As an example, if entries are capped at a maximum of 3000, this means that if you purchase 1 entry your chances of winning will be no worse than 1 in 3,000.
You can increase your chances of winning by purchasing more entries. For example, if you purchase 10 entries in the example above and you get the answer correct, your chances of winning will be no worse than 1 in 300 – pretty good odds!
We say "no worse than" because if not all the tickets to a competition sell then your odds will improve.
How can I use a discount code with my order?
Click the shopping cart at the top right of the site to go to your shopping cart. Just above the "Proceed to Checkout" button you'll see a link to click and add your discount code. Keep an eye on our socials and in your email (as long as you are opted in to email marketing) as we regularly reward our followers with coupons!
What is site credit and how do I use it?
Some of our competitions allow you to win "Site credit". This is virtual cash that you can use for real entries into our competitions. You can go to your account area and click on "Site Credit" to see how much you have in your wallet. If you have available site credit on your account it will be automatically applied to your next order.
Are the prizes real?
Absolutely! Check out our Winners page to see real people who have won real prizes. We regularly add to this page when a player allows us to feature them as a winner. We run prize draws which are fully compliant with the Gambling Act of 2005. We are a fully registered limited company in the UK adhering to a strict code of conduct and we want you to trust our competitions and keep coming back to win! What if a competition does not sell out?
Even if a draw does not sell out, the draw will still take place and you will have a better chance of winning because less tickets have been sold.
For Instant Win competitions that do not sell out, any prizes which have not been won within the time limit of the competition will be forfeited.
Can I get a refund of my entry fee?
The purchase of a ticket is final and cannot be either amended or withdrawn. We do not offer refunds of entry fees.
Your ticket number(s) are allocated immediately and are totally random, they cannot be changed.
How do automatic draws work technically?
Our automatic draws use a cryptographically secure random number generator, the same technology used by banks and security systems, to ensure every draw is completely fair and tamper-proof.
When a draw closes, the system generates a unique random seed using Node.js crypto.randomBytes. This seed is then used to calculate a winning ticket number from all tickets sold for that competition. No human is involved in the selection process, it is fully automated.
Every draw is permanently recorded in our audit log with the random seed used, the total tickets in the pool, and the winning ticket number. This means every result is independently verifiable and cannot be altered after the fact.
The entire process happens instantly when the draw closes and the winner is notified by email immediately.
How can I ensure that I continue to play this safely?

Can anyone enter the competition?
The competition is open to residents of the United Kingdom only who are 18 years or older.
We do not accept entries from anyone outside of these areas as the laws for running competitions vary. This competition has been organised to comply with the laws of England, and Wales.
Also, you cannot enter this competition if you are a relative of any of our suppliers.
What happens if the prize is unclaimed?
We will contact all winners using the registered email and mobile number on their account, so please ensure these are kept up to date. If we are unable to reach the winner within 28 days we reserve the right to find a new winner by doing another draw.
How do you use my personal data?
We need to use your data to administer the competition and award prizes. We do not use your data for any other purpose.
We do not share your data with any third parties unless this is necessary for administering the competition.

If you are the winner, we may have to share your details with the Advertising Standards Authority to confirm that we have administered the competition and awarded the prizes fairly.
You have the right to opt out from us using your data at any time. However, if you do ask us to remove your details from our database prior to the closing date, you will be withdrawing from the competition. You will not be entitled to a refund of any entry fees you have paid.
